David Depuydt, 27, allegedly committed multiple acts of sex conduct with a 15-year-old female student. Police say their relationship had been going on for 7 months. The victim was interviewed by officers and acknowledged the acts occurred. According to the school's website, DePuydt was suspended without pay pending the investigation. Depuydt was taken into custody. "This is an active investigation, and HCLC is cooperating with the Phoenix Police Department... We will continue to share information as we receive it from the Phoenix Police Department. Rest assured that the safety of our students continues to be our top priority," stated Betsy Fera, Executive Director of Horizon Community Learning Center. The investigation is ongoing.
